ITINERARY

DAY 1: KOTA KINABALU
Arrival in Kota Kinabalu! Meet & Greet– Transfer to the hotel (15 mins drive-7km) - Rest of day free at own leisure

DAY 2: KOTA KINABALU – CITY & SPICE MARKET TOUR (B)
Breakfast- Depart your hotel for a sightseeing tour of Kota Kinabalu, -a city rebuilt after World War 2. Photo stops will be made at the Menara Tun Mustapha (formerly known as the Sabah Foundation Building), the City Mosque and a Chinese Temple. Guided City Centre walk to discover the historic sites of Kota Kinabalu - Visit the Central and Spice Market, where your local tour guide will show and explain the various fruits, vegetables, fishes and spices used in the Malaysian cuisine. Enjoy a cup of local coffee or tea in one of the many local restaurants, together with a local pancake called “roti canai” ¬- Return to your Hotel at noon - Rest of the afternoon, free at leisure.

DAY 3: KOTA KINABALU – KINABALU PARK & PORING HOT SPRING (B/L)
Breakfast - Drive through the Crocker range to the Southern end of the Kinabalu Park. At Poring, join a jungle trail, venturing into the canopy walkway which is a series of bridges built 40m above the ground - If time permits, take a dip in the therapeutic sulphur baths - Adjourn for lunch and proceed to the Kinabalu Park Headquarters - Visit the Mountain Garden with its collection of orchids and plants that are unique to Kinabalu - Depart the park and return to the city and your hotel. (Estimated total driving time/distance: 5 hours 30 minutes, 252 km)

DAY 4: KOTA KINABALU – CORAL ISLAND TOUR (B/L)
Breakfast - Transfer to the jetty. Take a 20-minute boat ride to one of the coral islands within the Tunku Abdul Rahman Park. Spend the day swimming, snorkelling or just relaxing on the beach. Enjoy a simple pack lunch and return to the mainland in the early afternoon (basic shower facilities are available on the islands). (Estimated total driving time/distance: 13 minutes, 4 km)

DAY 5: KOTA KINABALU – DEPARTURE (B)
After breakfast, free and easy until your transfer to the airport or extension programme.

NOTE:
- Tours will be offered as stated in the program, but some may be done on different days than stated in the program. For example, if our program states a city tour on Day 1, it may be postponed to Day 3 instead, without any prior notice given.
- All boat transfers and tour activities in the park are on join-in basis.
